Showing/Hiding GV Job Monitor

There are two ways to display GV Job Monitor: the [Job] window and the separate [GV Job Monitor] application.

Showing/Hiding the [Job] Window

You can switch the show/hide setting for the [Job] window.

1) Click [Toggle Window Display] of the timeline.

2) Click [Job].

Alternative
  • When the show/hide setting for the [Job] window is switched, the show/hide setting for the tabs of the bin window, source browser window, and tab windows combined with the [Job] window are also switched. To switch the show/hide setting separately, release the association of the window or tab windows.

  • Even after the [Job] window is hidden, GV Job Monitor will reside in the notification area on the task bar.

Showing/Hiding [GV Job Monitor] Application

If you keep the [GV Job Monitor] application shown, the progress and status of rendering jobs can be checked even after you exit EDIUS.

Showing [GV Job Monitor] Application

1) Click [Tools] on the menu bar, and click [GV Job Monitor].

Alternative
  • Right-click the GV Job Monitor icon in the notification area on the task bar, and click [Open GV Job Monitor].

  • Display the Windows start menu, and click [Grass Valley] → [GV Job Monitor].

Closing [GV Job Monitor] Application

1) Click [×] of the [GV Job Monitor] application.

  • The [GV Job Monitor] application is closed.

  • Even after the [GV Job Monitor] application is closed, GV Job Monitor will reside in the notification area on the task bar.

  • Alternatively, right-click the GV Job Monitor icon in the notification area on the task bar and click [Close GV Job Monitor] to close the [GV Job Monitor] application. This operation will hide the GV Job Monitor icon in the notification area on the task bar.
