EDIUS X Trial Version

Prerequisite
– Ensure that your PC statisfies the system requirements
– If any other version of EDIUS is being installed, remove it without license deactivation.
– Identify the EDIUS edition (Workgroup or Pro) you want to try. To know the functional differences, click here
– The trial version always requires internet connection for license validation. Running in offline is not allowed.
Getting and starteed with EDIUS X Trial
Create eID
1) Visit eID web site
2) Click [eID registration]
3) Registration dialog will appear. Follow required steps
4) Click the link in preliminary e-mail you received
5) Registration page will appear. Complete all required fields
6) Click [Confirm]
7) Click [Registration] to finish eID registration
8) Click [My page] then go to next section
Download & install
1) In My Page, click EDIUS.
2) In the right-pane, select either EDIUS X Pro Trial or EDIUS Workgroup Trial
3) Scroll down the screen then click [Send]
4) You will receive notification e-mail that contains the Trial serial number.
5) Download and run the EDIUS_Setup-10.xx.xxxx.exe file. (note: this link will always point to the most current version. If the link does not work, please visit this page)
6) Follow the prompts to install the software.
7) Once finished, restart the OS.
Start EDIUS
1) Double-click the EDIUS icon on the desktop.
2) Enter the serial number that was provided to you in the Trial Version information e-mail. Once done, click [OK].
3) The trial version license activation will run. If successful, the ‘license activated’ dialog box will appear. Click [OK] .
4) Enter your e-mail address and password for your eID then click the [Log in].
About Your eID
Your eID links you to your EDIUS Pro/Workgroup license key the first time that you use EDIUS Pro/Workgroup. This provides much greater license security, and helps Grass Valley to combat piracy and illegal software use.
eID and EDIUS
Authentication of your serial number with your eID is necessary to launch EDIUS. The first time EDIUS is launched after installation, a serial number and eID verification screen will appear. EDIUS Pro//Workgroup will launch if they can be authenticated.
eID Online Functions
After successfully creating and registering your eID, you will be able to access your personal eID page online to do the following:
- Check your serial number information (confirmed after EDIUS verification)
- Receive a Trial Version license (a trial version license can be activated for each product only once)
How to create an eID
Follow the instructions on the eID registration page, enter the information required and then click ‘eID Registration’. You will then receive an email, with instructions explaining how to complete your registration.
