Fixed Issues

EDIUS

– When registering the same type of licenses to the Floating License Server multiple times, the Flexnet Publisher console only shows the number of licenses associated with the last registered serial number (SFDC00862882)
– When text in certain languages is entered into a text object on the Quick Titler, the first character will be ignored
– Joining clips that are being transferred as a sequence clip causes high-resolution video to go offline (SFDC00884834)
– Occasionally EDIUS freezes when the source file of a Quick Titler clip on the timeline is overwritten with the Quick Titler (SFDC00904682, 00906471, 00907141, 00907719)
– When expanding a growing clip on the timeline, it always behaves as if the insert mode even in the overwrite mode (SFDC00893397)
– Occasionally EDIUS freezes while starting up or opening a project if a floating license is used
– When performing keyboard shortcut operations without a break, the response is not smooth during a job is in progress
– If only a video track of a certain clip is loaded on the timeline, trimmed then registered to the Bin, the registered Bin clip may contain video and audio tracks of incorrect lengths
– There are cases that the Job window is not updated properly
– During a partial render job is in progress, the progress bar on the progress dialogs does not progress at all
– Normalizing audio level is skipped without any warning for clips that have no audio waveform cache file
*Audio waveform cache files are now generated for such clips before normalizing.
– Multicam Sync does not work properly if the Sync Point is “Audio (Around the Marker)”
– Closed caption data cannot be exported If it is stored in a sidecar file
– There are cases that the “TC Jump” dialog will be hidden by the Preview window if the Preview window is selected while the dialog is open (SFDC00882967)
– The V track patch will not appear if a T track connected to the video source channel is deleted (SFDC00853190)
– There are cases that the “Cancel” button on the progress dialog changes to an “OK” button just before completion, and clicking it will cause EDIUS to freeze (SFDC00907707)
– When switching to the Trim Mode and changing the In or Out point in the Trim Window, in rare cases, a job in progress may be paused and unable to be resumed
– There is a case that EDIUS generates proxies with inaccurate color (SFDC00893359)
*Existing proxies will need to be regenerated because they will not be fixed automatically. See here for instructions.
– EDIUS cannot load an HLS clip if it contains only one media file
– Timecode stored in MOV files does not comply the standards
– When exporting an MXF file is aborted with “Keep the created file when aborted” option unchecked, there is a case that a garbage file remains if “Create the index file for simul edit” option is checked
*”Keep the created file when aborted” option is no longer unchecked if “Create the index file for simul edit” option is checked.
– Certain MP4 clips are not played properly with Intel Quick Sync Video hardware decoding
– EDIUS works slowly during a waveform cache creation job is in progress (SFDC00900028)
– Video and audio are not properly synchronized for certain H.264 MP4 clips (SFDC00902732)
– Depending on the network condition, the database may remain out of sync between the EDIUS Hub server and client in rare cases (EDIUS Hub environment only)
*Because the Asset Store database has been upgraded to fix this, there are precautions when downgrading to 10.34 or earlier after upgrading. See here for details.
– Audio from EDIUS connected via PCoIP will not be audible after disconnecting and reconnecting
– Huge number of logs from SyncGateway are output in the Application Event Log
– Certain .MPG files and .MP4 files created by Adobe Premiere Pro 2025 are unable to be imported properly (SFDC00909994)
– EDIUS fails to start with the error “Failed to start services. (Render Service)” (SFDC00908237)
– Audio of certain MP4 clips becomes silent (SFDC00909770)
– When clips are registered, they appear in the root folder instead of the current folder
– Audio tracks of certain MXF files are not imported (SFDC00908452)

Known Issues

EDIUS

– Frame number of source timecode is always shown as even number in 50p/60p clips
– Encoding in Dolby Digital Professional/Plus changes the volume of audio
– Standalone GV Job Monitor requests “EdiusHubPackage.msi” when it is launched
For workaround, Use EDIUS integrated GV Job Monitor
– MPEG2 Elementary Stream exporter is unavailable
– Some of third party plug-ins and Bonus Contents cannot be uninstalled or updated properly if GV Render Engine is running in the background
For workaround, stop GV Render Engine or background render service – here more details
– Updating Floating License Server fails if the installed version is 10.30 or earlier
For Workaround, Uninstall the old version first
– If the OS has not been restarted after changing the display scaling, sizes of texts created by QuickTitler will be unexpectedly changed at the export
For Workaround, Restart GV Render Engine before file export – here more details
– AVCHD 3D writer exporter fails to export files
– When a clip exported by the P2 3D exporter is registered in the bin, it will be handled as a sequence clip instead of a 3D clip
– When “Separate Left and Right” is selected to export a stereoscopic clip, only the L side file is export
– Vorbis exporter fails if the number of audio channels is 7 or 8, even though the exporter’s specifications allow up to 8 channels of audio
– When exporting MP3 audio, noise is exported if “Bit Depth” of audio format is set to 20bit
– The color space of the project settings is not reflected to still image files created by “Create a Still Image” function
– “Pre-roll Edit (Rec)” does not overwrite the timeline
– Error dialog is hidden behind other EDIUS windows and GUI becomes inoperable when batch export fails if the progress bar dialog is set to be shown during export
For workaround, Hit [ALT] + [ESC] several times to bring the error dialog foreground
– When overwriting an existing clip with [Add to Bin] option, the existing clip appears instead of a placeholder on the bin, and occasionally it is replaced with a black image instead of the exported clip in the end
* Once it occurs, remove the black clip, close the project, reopen it and add the exported clip again to recover from the issue

Mync

– Updating Floating License Server fails if the installed version is 10.30 or earlier
For workaround, uninstall the old version first
