HDV/DV tape I/O (capture or print) does not work properly in Windows 7. What should I do?

If you are using the Windows 7 FireWire native driver, you may experience these issues. Switch to the legacy driver as below:

*Quit EDIUS before switching drivers.
1. Open Windows Device Manager.
2. Right-click on the FireWire device name and then choose [Update Driver Software].
3. Driver update wizard will run. Choose "Browse my computer for driver software".
4. Choose "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer".
5. Choose "1394 OHCI Compliant Host Controller(Legacy)" and then click [Next] button.
6. Click [Close] button.
