New encoder selection UI on H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC exporter

FAQ ID:000037972 | Date:2025/05/27

From EDIUS 11.22.17809 build, new encoder selection UI design is available on H.264/AVC and H.265/HEVC exporter

In 11.21.17609 or earlier, you need to select separate exporter depends on using Intel Quick Sync Video (QSV) (or software encoding) or NVIDIA NVENC hardware encoder. From 11.22.17809, both exporters are integrated.

Applicable exporters

– H.264/AVC MOV, MP4
– H.265/HEVC MOV, MP4

NOTES:

1. NVIDIA driver version 570 or later is required to use NVIDIA NVENC hardware encoder.

2. H.xxx / xxxx (NVIDIA) – obsolete exists to use existing user preset. We do not recommend using it for current operation.

3. If you select F4V, PlayStation Portable, iPod exporter, only either Intel QSV or software encoder is selectable.
