From EDIUS 11.40.19609, you are allowed to import profile even if the folder is renamed

When you create multiple profiles, profile folder is created with sequential number name that starts from ‘User000’ and each profile settings will be stored in created folder. In earlier build, profiles do not appear in EDIUS if you rename profile folder name.

From EDIUS 11.40.19609, you are allowed to use the profiles even if the folders are renamed. Follow below steps to use profiles with renamed folder:

NOTE: Take below steps in each EDIUS client:

1) Rename profile folder name.

2) Quit EDIUS if running.

3) Navigate to C:\Users\{USER NAME}\AppData\Roaming\Grass Valley\EDIUS\11.00.

4) Delete UserCache folder.

5) Run EDIUS.

6) Select Settings > System Settings > Application > Profile.

7) Tick required option due to your workflow – Local, Shared server or Local and Shared server.

8) Select Shared server folder then click [Sync] – only using network profile
