EDIUS / Mync: Listed license cannot be removed from GV License Manager (#411C error)

FAQ ID:000038105 | Date:2025/11/20

#411C error occurred and I need to remove a license from GV License Manager. However, when right-cliking on the license, [Delete] context menu does not appear. How I can resolve?

To use the context menu, you need to start GV License Manager whilst pressing Ctrl + Shift keyboard combination. But it is assigned to the OS settings. This may be a cause. Deactivate OS keyboard shortcut by following steps:

1) Open GV License Manager (select Exit context menu) from the notification tray at the bottom right of the desktop of the workstation.

2) Press Win + I key to open settings window.

3) Select Time & language > Typing > Advanced keyboard settings.

4) Go to Switching input methods and select Input language hot keys.

5) Go to [Advanced Key Settings] then click [Change Key Sequence].

6) At ‘Switch Keyboard Layout’ pane, tick ‘Not assigned’.

7) Click [OK].

8) Click [Apply] > [OK].

9)  Navigate to C:\Program Files\Grass Valley\GV License Manager.

10) Whilst pressing Ctrl + Shift key and double-click AppMaintainer.exe.

11) Open GV License Manager (select License list context menu) from the notification tray at the bottom right of the desktop of the workstation.

12) Right-click on target license and select [Delete] context menu.

13) Open GV License Manager (select Exit context menu) from the notification tray at the bottom right of the desktop of the workstation.

14) Select Start > Grass Valley > GV License Manager.

15) Restore OS settings – switch from Not assigned to Ctrl + Shift.
