EDIUS / Mync doesn’t have a codec for HEIC file as designed. There are below two ways to load the type of clip into EDIUS / Mync

1. Install HEVC Video Extensions

Download HEVC Video Extensions $0.99 version from Microsoft Store. Once installed, load .HEIC file into the Bin directly

2. Use 3rd party converter utility

Use 3rd party converter utility to convert HEIC to JPEG

NOTES ON USING HEVC VIDEO EXTENSIONS:
1) Capability of able / unable to load an .HEIC file depends on the extensions behavior. Grass Valley won’t gurantee loading any type of HEIC file by installation of the extensions
2) Before buying the extensions, make sure if your system satisfies system requirements of the extensions and accept to the license agreement
