This KCS article navigates way to find the floating license server manually

In factory default settings, GV License Manager is configured to find the floating license server automatically. But if your system satisfies below situation (either one or both), you need to configure GV License Manager manually.

a. Floating license server (or hub server) works in static IP address

b. Static port number is configured for license server manager port – details here

Procedure

1) Open GV License Manager (select Settings context menu) from the notification tray at the bottom right of the desktop of the In the floating license server or hub server.

2) Tick Use floating license server then untick Get settiings automatically.

3) Fill out the license server (or hub server) IP address.

4) If you configure license server manager port number, enter same port number.

5) Click [OK].

6) Open GV License Manager (select Exit context menu) from the notification tray.

7) Select Start > All > Grass Valley > GV License Manager.
