EDIUS 11: Troubles when importing MP4 or MOV files or Proxy Originated Editing

Symptom
If VisTitle V3 is installed with EDIUS 11, you may encoutner below issue:
– EDIUS 11 freezes when importing MP4 or MOV files including proxy files of camera clips.
– Proxy files are not treated as temporary editing clips while Proxy Originated Editing.
– Number of audio tracks in a MP4 or MOV file is incorrect.
– Some metadata in MP4 or MOV files is lost in Clip properties.
Applicable environment
EDIUS 11 works with VisTitle v3
Solution
1) Upgrade VisTitle to v3.1.0.0 – details here
2) Start EDIUS 11 project
3) Select Tools > Videostar H.264/H.265 Importer Setting
4) Untick all checks then click [OK]
| NOTE: If .mp4 and .mov are ticked and the check box is grayed, tick Enable H.264 Importer temporarily then untick both .mp4 and .mov. Once completed, untick Enable H.264 Importer. |
5) Restart EDIUS.
