IMPORTANT NOTE
This knowledge base is applicable to EDIUS 9 or earlier. Importing from a CD, DVD is no longer available in EDIUS X
Firstly, EDIUS cannot import a footage from DVD if the disc is not accessible from Windows Explorer. If a DVD is not finalized, it cannot be accessible from EDIUS and Windows Explorer. Also, there is no way to finalize the disc in Windows in many cases.
If you want to import a footage from DVD that is recorded in DVD-VR mode, finalize the disc in the recorder.
