Activate VST 3 plug-in

Follow the steps below:

1) Install VST 3 plug-in.

2) Run EDIUS.

3) Select Settings > System Settings > Effect > VST 3 Plug-in Bridge.

4) Confirm listed search location matches to the plug-in destination that you selected while the plug-in installation (step#2).

5) If you confirm matching the location, tick the plug-in location.

6) Click [Detect Plug-ins From Folder]. Confirmation message will appear. Click [Yes]. 

7) Detected plug-ins will be listed. Click [Hide unsupported plug-ins] to hide the plug-in that cannot be used in EDIUS 11.

8) Tick the listed plug-in that you want to use.

9) Click [Apply] > [OK].

10) Restart EDIUS application – selected plug-ins will not be activated until restarting EDIUS.

 

Register VST 3 plug-in location manually

EDIUS sets C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 as default plug-in search location. Follow the steps below if you want to register more VST 3 plug-in location:

1) Ensure that VST 3 plug-in has been installed and note down the location of .vst3 file.

2) Run EDIUS.

3) Select Settings > System Settings > Effect > VST 3 Plug-in Bridge.

4) Click [Add].

5) Select the location of .vst3 file and click [Select Folder].

6) Take the step#7 to #10 of ‘Activate VST 3 plug-in’.
