EDIUS asks to install Windows 7 Security Updates
We recently confirmed that recent Windows 7 updates seem to overwrite the security updates those EDIUS requires to install. In this case, you may not be able to install the security updates.
If installation of Windows 7 security updates are failed, please install EDIUS in below steps. EDIUS installer will skip to check installaticon of the security updates:
EDIUS 8
1) Open command prompt window.
2) Change directory where EDIUS installer copied.
3) Run EDIUS installer with SkipCheckWindowsUpdatePatch=1 option (ex. EDIUS_8.20_0623_DL_Setup SkipCheckWindowsUpdatePatch=1)
EDIUS 7
1) Open command prompt window.
2) Change directory where EDIUS installer copied.
3) Run EDIUS installer with /CHECKIGNORE option (ex. EDIUS_7.53_0010_DL_Setup /CHECKIGNORE)
